Living Lab Lunch: Robotics & AI in the Food Industry

On Thursday 12 February, our Dutch partner, AgriFood Capital, is organising a Living Lab Lunch at QING | Food Automation in Arnhem.
During this interactive lunch, they bring together food processing companies, machine builders, Living Labs, and knowledge partners to explore how Robotics and AI can contribute in practice to:
- More efficient food production
- Improved quality monitoring
- Sustainability and support for labour
While Robotics and AI offer significant potential, practical questions often arise around integration, data quality, reliability, and collaboration. During the lunch, we will jointly explore questions such as:
Where do Robotics and AI truly add value today in food production and machine building?
What technical and organisational barriers are encountered during implementation and how to overcome these?
Which ideas are suitable to translate into concrete pilots in Living Labs together?
After a short introduction and practical case from QING | Food Automation, we will work in small groups during lunch. Each table will start with a focused discussion and work towards concrete insights, potential pilots, and next steps.
Why Living Lab Lunches?
With the Living Lab Lunches, we aim to create a low-threshold setting where Living Labs, companies and knowledge partners can openly share experiences, challenges, and ideas on barriers and opportunities around deep tech innovations. By connecting real-world questions to technology and expertise, we accelerate learning, collaboration, and the development of concrete innovations.
Interested? Stay tuned for the outcomes of this Lunch!
