ITG Technology Center

ITG Technology Center is a Spanish non-profit research and technology organization officially recognized as a National Technology Centre by the Spanish Government . Since its establishment in 1991 in A Coruña, ITG has been dedicated to enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises, organizations, and professionals through innovative research and development .

Specializing in the design, development, and implementation of complex ICT-based technologies (software and hardware), ITG supports decision-making processes across various sectors. Its expertise encompasses sensor-based solutions, including IoT, AI, and Big Data technologies, applied in fields such as agriculture and food processing, water management, energy efficiency, sustainable construction, resource efficiency in manufacturing processes, and smart mobility .

ITG's achievements have earned it a place on the technology centers map of the Advanced Technologies for Industry (ATI) project, which monitors advanced technology trends . Additionally, ITG is a member of GAIA-X, the European association focused on creating trusted data infrastructures .

In the SIXFOLD project, ITG contributes to all work packages and serves as the liaison for the Galician regional ecosystem, bringing its extensive experience and innovative solutions to the forefront of food system transformation.
