AgriFood Capital is a regional development organization from North-East Brabant, the Netherlands, bringing together industry, public authorities, and knowledge institutes to drive innovation and sustainable growth in the agrifood sector.

Acting as a network builder, matchmaker, project developer, and communicator, AgriFood Capital works at the intersection of business and policy to strengthen regional collaboration and support transformative food system solutions.

A key initiative led by AgriFood Capital—Next Tech Food Factories, developed in partnership with Brainport Development—supports the transition of food processors toward advanced, tech-enabled production models. These efforts are embedded within broader innovation ecosystems such as the European Digital Innovation Hub South NL (EDIH), NEXTGEN High Tech, and HIGHFIVE, and link to regional Living Labs including Food Tech Brainport, Fruit Tech Campus, and QING | Forward Engineering.

AgriFood Capital also plays an important role in shaping European cooperation: it chairs the Smart Specialisation Strategies for Agrifood (S3P Agrifood) Partnership and represents North Brabant in the ERIAFF network (European Regions for Innovation in Agriculture, Food, and Forestry).

In the SIXFOLD project, AgriFood Capital serves as the Assistant Coordinator, leads the development of the co-creation methodology, and acts as the liaison for the Brabant and broader Dutch regional ecosystem—bringing its expertise in collaborative innovation and regional development to the heart of European food systems transformation.
