CIMES is a French "competitiveness cluster" dedicated to manufacturing and production performance. Its mission is to coordinate high-innovative ecosystems to design, develop and industrialize processes, products and services in the framework of Industry 4.0 via the emergence of innovative collaborative projects. Its large ecosystem, based on the relationships with the local mechanical business networks organizations, is composed of more than 500 organizations. The thematic roadmap is built around three main topics: Engineering for Manufacturing, Materials and Surfaces, Integrated Robotics and Production Efficiency, Optimized engineering for sustainable systems. CIMES develops a cross-sectoral dimension, dealing with traditional industrial sectors such as aeronautics and automotive and other diverse sectors such as health, agriculture, agri-food and energy.
