What’s EGGAI about?
Developed by Slovenian company EggOS Ltd, EGGAI is focused on reducing food waste in the food service industry. The project uses artificial intelligence to improve how meals are planned and how inventory is managed. By forecasting demand more accurately and adjusting menus to what people actually eat, EGGAI helps kitchens cut down on unnecessary waste.
EggOS is already a major player in workplace food services in Slovenia, and EGGAI builds on that success by adding new AI-powered tools to their existing system.
Why it matters
Food waste isn’t just an environmental issue—it’s also a cost problem. EGGAI aims to:
