IDEPA

IDEPA is the economic development Agency of the Principality of Asturias, is a public entity and its President is the Regional Minister for Labour, Industry and Tourism. Since its creation in 1983 IDEPA has integrated the commitment of the regional government and social and economic agents with the sustainable development of Asturias. It is the hub of a complete infrastructure that aims at both the improvement of competitiveness of Asturian companies and also the recruitment of new investments. IDEPA carries out a wide range of programmes on the fields of innovation, cluster policies, entrepreneurship policies, infrastructures, promotion of investment and internationalization. Since 2012 IDEPA has coordinated the process of elaborating and implementing the RIS3 strategy in Asturias.
