The "quality" constraints in the cheese industry are significant. Among the production stages, product refining and traceability play a key role in the quality of finished products and on the productivity of manufacturers. Despite the strategic aspect of these two actions, the practices and equipment associated with these steps remain largely under-optimized.

Thus, the partners of the AFFINID project aim to provide a complete response consisting of innovative and complementary technological solutions enabling a better mastery of these steps:

• a new range of identifiers incorporating innovative radio frequency sensor tags (RFID)
• robotic solutions for the installation and collection of identifiers on the millstones
